Our wooden dough bowls are hand-carved by artisans in Corsicana, TX and poured to order with any of our signature fragrances.  Since they are individually hand-carved, they will vary slightly in size, shape and depth.  We make every effort to choose the very best to use for our candles.  Please be aware that the item you receive may not look like the item in the photos.

Dough bowls will burn a little differently than regular candles.  You may not get a full melt pool (side to side) on the first burn.  This is normal.  After the candle is finished burning, scoop out the remaining wax and put it in a warmer.  Clean bowl with alcohol and enjoy for many years to come!

Your candle was made with love and will provide many hours of burn time following these tips:

• Let wax melt to the edge during the first burn to prevent tunneling (wax has a memory and will want to stay within its first melt pool)
• Keep wicks trimmed to 1/4 inch
• Never burn longer than 4 hours
